We could be clever and come up with several names here that will clue you in to the greatness of this chocolate cake recipe. Orgazmacake, perhaps, or Better Than Cheerleader Cake, or Better Than Sex Cake.

Let's just say it's mighty good.

CAKE INGREDIENTS:

8 ounces semi-sweet baking chocolate, chopped into small pieces
2/3 cup butter
1 cup sugar
4 eggs
4 tablespoons flour (rice flour will work here, too if you're looking for a gluten-free version)
4 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 tablespoons sour cream

FROSTING INGREDIENTS:

2/3 cup heavy cream or whipping cream
9 ounces semi-sweet baking chocolate, chopping into small pieces

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease a 9 inch cake pan
Melt chocolate and butter in saucepan over hot water (double boiler)
Beat eggs with sugar; add flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and vanilla.
Mix in the butter and chocolate mixture. Add the sour cream.
Bake for 50 minutes or until done.
Let cool.

Make frosting:

Heat the cream on the stove. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate until smooth. Let cool until it thickens.

When cake is cool and frosting is thickened, frost cake.

Delicious chilled or at room temperature.
