That one aliens come to earth for a burger story is now on-line.

This is the second story I wrote when I started writing again, and the first publishable one. I wrote it for fun. I wanted it to be entertaining and light, but at the same time write about someone making a hard choice. And I wanted to write a love letter to The Weekly World News (the title was changed by the editor for this piece) and to a lot of other elements of my childhood. Like, you know, the pulps. And renting out desert land in Rupert to UFO watchers (which was only a running joke). And to Oasis burgers.

So, yes, as the editor points out it's flawed. Upon rereading it after *ahem mumble mumble* I can see a lot of things I'd do differently now. *shrugs* But crap, what of mine isn't flawed?

And, uh, the typos aren't mine.
