I've had a really good day, and I'm grateful for it.

My day was relaxing and I played hooky from work.

I did what I wanted.

My husband had dinner ready and our kids came over.

We ate and had birthday cake, I opened my presents, played with my Grand babies.
Now I get to check my email, make an entry in my blog,
maybe even play a game on my computer.

Tomorrow I'm back at work, the secondhand store our family
has opened.
It's slowly gaining momentum, we are encouraged.

I am Thankful, content.
I'm 51 and I refused to be scared by a number.
My music is still metal, jeans still rock,and my sarcastic wit is still intact.
I don't bend easily to others, yet am able to admit when
I'm wrong.

It doesn't hurt like most think it does.

It just stings for a short minute.
