watch it go

It's Wednesday and as most days I am sitting at my computer trying to remember what's next on the to do list.

I've started my laundry, one in the dryer, one in the washer. It is time for me to do my husband's shirts, not just plain ole button downs, guayabera shirts...Cuban style shirts. These puppies cannot be worn unless properly starched and ironed. That is why I tend to do it once a month. He can wear other shirts that don't lend to a full day of laundering.

Chore 2 bill paying. Now this is a consistent thing in the life of a human. I place my ledger, bills, pen, scrap paper, calculator, cigarettes & ashtray and my beverage on the table. I figure out our available cash, light a cigarette and say a prayer. I still have money in the bank and I believe everything will be covered. YC called to remind us her tuition is due for Spring semester. She graduates in May,then she's off to Grad school.

Closing our store. This is becoming a struggle for me. I actually have enjoyed doing this. We got screwed on the mortgage for our store,so bye bye to our endeavour. We are selling off our inventory. It makes me sad.We have some pretty cool stuff and now it all has to go.

2010..I'll be 52. Married for 25 years. Still in love with Big Daddy. My children are doing OK and so are my grand-babies.

Made it through another season of snowbirds and the insanity that, that incurs. Florida is usually congested yet add a few more thousands of out of towners and chaos ensues. Traffic jams, long lines at restaurants, and grocery stores. No parking at the beach and I habla but don't speak French..but I do figure out that you have sworn at me..watch it.

This year 2 of my friends will possibly move. Due to the economy. I will miss them. One is my partner in crime and our husbands actually get along. Life sucks sometimes..:O(

I'm not exactly living La Vida Loca yet my life sustains me....I'm blessed.

So hello from Florida, our doors are always open... so... Bienvenidos
