Well, Inkshed starts today.

I so desperately wish I was going to be there. It's hard to have a bad time going to a retreat-like conference with 50 of your closest (or soon-to-be-closest) colleagues and friends . . . and since I'm not there I have no confidence that there will be a critical mass of people to go swimming in the Bay of Fundy . . .

Without Inkshed, this academic year will end not with a bang but a whimper. I'm hoping that there will be some year soon where my end-of-semester obligations don't prevent me from attending, but I'm also not holding my breath.

So, Inkshedders, hope you're having a good time . . . and please quaff a Moosehead in my name . . .
