. . . always travel with a bathing suit.

I thought I had a meeting from 12:30-2:00 today, but apparently I was the only one who thought so; the other two people with whom I was supposed to meet never showed up. So here it is, about 80 degrees outside, not a cloud in the sky . . . the MSU pool beckons, but I can't answer. Swimsuit, towel, goggles, and Beach Read are all at home. Sheesh. What a pathetic oversight.

I do have the bike in the back of the car, but I don't have biking clothes with me . . . I don't feel like getting profoundly sweaty in the clothes I'm wearing.

So what am I to do?? Perhaps I'll just load up those papers I have to look at before Monday and head to a cafe in EL or AA and sit outside, sip a latte, and grade . . . (or I could go home and wash floors.) (HA! Like that would ever happen on a day like today . . . ) Or maybe I'll nail my feet to the floor in the sensory deprivation of my office (no windows!) and slog through some work here. I'm becoming such a drone . . .
