Or, well, it would be glorious, if we weren't planning to drive in it . . . I arrived at work this morning as the snow was falling lightly (about an hour ago) but it has since accelerated, and people are complaining about slippery conditions . . . There's a winter storm watch in effect for Lansing from late tonight until late tomorrow night. Ann Arbor fares slightly better; no storm watch, but there is snow in the forecast.

Things get better the farther southeast you go, so Youngstown's weather should be pretty reasonable; I'm guessing we'll drive out of the storm this afternoon (and then drive back into it tomorrow night, gaaaah). (We could stay until Friday, but I think I'm the only person who thinks that's a good option . . . )

So we'll see what transpires, I guess. It's all kind of ironic because Emil's father would never leave on a trip under these conditions . . .

Ah, well. Now where did I put my ski wax????
