Well, I am pleased to say that I have achieved my other knitting goal for this break: I learned to cast on and knit a Moebius strip, as described by Cat Bordhi in A Treasury of Magical Knitting, which I got for Christmas from Kathy and Richard.

And the experience of knitting one truly is weird and unlike any other knitting I've ever done. It's totally cool. It's very fun watching the garment (whatever it turns out to be) develop. I have no idea how many stitches I've got on the needle (a lot), and I have an incomplete picture of how this garment is being constructed, but this is a very interesting project indeed.

I'll post a picture tomorrow when the light's better. Right now, I'm going to sit back, listen to folk music on WKAR, and knit some more . . .
