Well, it turns out that those flowers I got actually came from two different people. The two dozen sweetheart roses (which were getting a bit cramped in their vase once they started to open up, so I put them in another) came from my brother, as I thought.



But this little guy actually came from Kevin:



Two different flower orders, from two different places . . . and I swear I didn't get a card with either of them. Of course, there were a gazillion ads and offers for other products packed with both of them, so it's possible that neither Emil nor I saw the cards, and accidentally threw them out. Since there were two different boxes, I have to think that it was probably operator error on our part . . . but then on the other hand, with everything else they've got to pack into the boxes, maybe they forget cards all the time . . .
