Well, the new year is off to a MOST auspicious start here . . . we're smack dab in the middle of what looks to be a bona fide winter storm, our first in years. We already had about 4" on the ground, and tonight they're promising 6-9", with an additional 3-5" during the day tomorrow. (Well, it's after midnight here - so technically, I guess, the additional 3-5" will fall later in the day today.)

I am very tired but also very tempted to put on my skis and take a spin around the neighborhood. What's really holding me back is the temperature - it's about 30 degrees out there, and I have never been able to hit the wax very well when it's so warm. Tomorrow (today) should offer a high of 29, but then, Wednesday's forecast is for 19 degrees: Prime skiing weather. Yee, ha!!

One of my New Year's resolutions is to post to my blog more frequently than I have been (which really shouldn't be too hard, eh?) The past couple of months have been busy, kind of eventful (but not blog-eventful), and I have been spending too much time on Ravelry . . . I'm not going to try to catch up on all of November and December because it'll just bog me down - thinking of all I meant to say has been keeping me from posting as it is.

I will catch up a little, though - tomorrow. After I ski!

Happy New Year, everybody, and I hope yours is off to a good start, too.
