Peter asked about the Olympics . . . I have been composing a blog post in my head, but haven't had a chance to write. (And I don't have time now; I'm about to go off to our last class.)

But here's a link to the scene in the dorm cafeteria where we watched the ceremony en masse. I think that ALL of China watched the opening ceremony; the campus was deserted when Richard and I ran over (late, because we'd sat too long over dinner talking about Tibet). All the white people in these photos are part of our group.

More soon. It has been, and continues to be, a whirlwind.
