Just quickly, because I'm about out the door to go teach my Algerians (if anyone knows a decent source of science podcasts or -ahem- downloadable videos, please let me know). But I've about recovered from my sleep deprivation of the past month . . . and am charging ahead with the next month.
Trying desperately to cram in everything I still want to do and accomplish. I've started studying Chinese like a madwoman, although I'll never learn enough to satisfy me. And I'm trying to create as many networks as I can, so I can come and stay for an extended period next summer.
It feels like I'll be leaving for home tomorrow, alas.
Anyway, more later. But first, a few unfortunate signs:
