Eye of the Chicken

Just a short update:

One of my two air conditioning units is fixed.
There were thunderstorms, and the plane was diverted to Changchun, finally arriving about 90 minutes late.
Everyone is sleeping in air conditioned apartments tonight.
BUT . . . they have to share apartments. In a building that's not the same one I'm living in.
We're still one apartment short. Which means, my friend Rob is staying with me until another room can be found. (This is a familiar and comfortable arrangement. EXCEPT . . . )
He's got the room with the air conditioning.

Yuckballs, as my nephew used to say.
