I had no idea Journalscape was an open service, I always thought of it as "that thing that all the cool new SF writers use." I'm surprised it hasn't exploded all over the internet yet: free journal hosting, no ads, comments that you can turn or off per entry, great templates, RSS feeds, and some other cool tools.

So, anyway, my journal. It's all part of my big, elaborate plan to stop being such a slacker. Writing something every day should be a step in the right direction. It's true, previous attempts at this have all failed miserably. But hope springs eternal for the foolish or something. Actually, I think it was for the damned. Oh well.

I'm not sure about the title, it was pretty silly to have "mark" on top there so I entered the first thing that came to my mind. I think it might sound sort of cool if you're not familiar with the computer graphics field, else it just sounds silly for a journal name.
