Today is the second anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the United States. I wish that I could say that we lived in a safer, friendlier world now. I wish I could say that the United States became a big sibling to the world and lent our hands in gestures of compassion. I wish that I could say that moneyed hands weren't dictating who we should invade next. I wish that two oil men weren't squatting and plotting in our White House. I wish I could say that my future children and their nieces and nephews were getting a better planet than the one that I had.

I wish I could say those things.

But I can't.

And the world hasn't learned a damn thing from 9-11-01 except how to get even more intolerant.

:-(
