If I'm not careful, I will have NO money this coming up fall due to all of the great dvd's that are coming out. YIKES!!!

First and foremost:

1. Call me wacky, but the non-Indiana Jones dvd that I'm looking forward to the most this fall is the Warner Brothers Looney Tunes dvd set which will contain the following Looney Tunes Classics:

Disc 1 - Bugs Bunny

Baseball Bugs, Rabbit Seasoning, Long-Haired Hare, High Diving Hare, Bully for Bugs, What's Up Doc?, Rabbit's Kin, Water, Water Every Hare, Big House Bunny, Big Top Bunny, My Bunny Lies over the sea, Wabbit Twouble, Ballot Box Bunny, Rabbit of Seville

Disc 2 - Daffy Duck & Porky the Pig

Duck Amuck, Dough for the Do-Do, Drip-Along Daffy, Scaredy Cat, The Ducksters, The Scarlet Pumpernickel, Yankee Doodle Daffy, Porky Chops, Wearing of the Grin, Deduce, You Say, Boobs in the Woods, Golden Yeggs, Rabbit Fire, Duck Dodgers in the 24 1/2 Century

Disc 3 - All Stars

Elmer's Candid Camera, Bugs Bunny and The 3 Bears, Fast and Furry-ous, Hair-Raising Hare, The Awful Orphan, Haredevil Hare, For Scent-imental Reasons, Frigid Hare, The Hypo-Chondri-Cat , Baton Bunny, Feed the Kitty, Don't Give Up The Sheep, Bugs Bunny Gets the Boid, Tortoise Wins By A Hare

Disc 4 - All Stars

Canary Row, Bunker Hill Bunny, Kit for Cat, Putty Tat Trouble, Bugs and Thugs, Canned Feud, Lumber Jerks, Speedy Gonzales, Tweety's S.O.S., Foghorn Leghorn, The, Daffy Duck Hunt, Early to Bet, Broken Leghorn, Devil May Hare

2. Can I be any more excited for the Indiana Jones movies on dvd? I am absolutely thrilled that three of my favorite movies are going to dvd format. The only drawback is that neither Lucas or Spielberg are doing commentary on the movies. This has more to do with Spielberg's wishes that he not record a commentary track. Kind of disappointing, but no big whoop. It appears that the other features on the disc more than make up for the lack of commentary.

3. There is both a "Fargo" and a "Rudy" special edition coming out. I lump those two together because I already own the bare bones editions that the studios put out when dvd was first coming around. If the editions are spectacular, I'll buy them. If not, I'm happy with what I have.

4. "X2" and "The Hulk" come out on dvd this fall as well. Although not a HUGE fan of the Hulk movie, I will probably get around to getting the dvd at some point. I think that it's packed with enough features to make the purchase worth it. If "X2" was nothing but the movie, I'd still get it. Fortunately, there are some pretty decent features with it, so that's a must for me. "X2" is the one definite.

5. "Naqoyqatsi" comes out as well. Being a big fan of the "qatsi" movies, I'll be sure to get this last movie to complete my trilogy set.

6. Ben Stiller show on dvd. BIG fan of the show. That show, as well as early nineties SNL have done more to shape my sense of humor than anything else around.

There are more to comment on, but I'm going to go ahead and quit while I'm ahead.
