I'm going to tackle this when I have a little more time, but I thought I'd share a FEW brief thoughts on the film.

Overall, I was both thrilled AND severely disappointed with "Matrix Revolutions." As a third movie, it broke mold and tried new things, but I think it ultimately failed at both what it was trying to do, and as a third movie altogether.

The battle for Zion was actually pretty cool. This is a huge battle the likes have never been seen before on screen. The amount of carnage that we see is brutally intense. However, at times, it went on way too long.

My biggest gripe with the movie is how it ended. I completely disagree with the ending, and will get into it later in a full-on review. But the ending left me aggravatingly disappointed.

My biggest gripe, is that I think that "Reloaded" and "Revolutions" COMPLETELY negated everything that I liked about the first movie.

That's all I'm going to say for now. I'll probably wait to do a full out review until I'm sure that certain people who read my journal have had a chance to see the movie for themselves.

more to come
