I just watched a trailer for M. Night's new movie, "The Village." At first the trailer made the movie look somewhat intruiging. It's a story about a small 18th century colonial village that is visited by "strange visitors that live in the woods."

Upon first viewing I thought that the movie looked like it might be an entertaining, yet seriously flawed movie like "Signs" was. But upon another viewing, I think that M. Night has crossed the line with his twist ending this time.

If the movie has the twist ending that it appears to have, then I think it'll be laughed out of the theaters. If I'm guessing right, then I hope I'm wrong.

I won't give it away, but it's CHEESE!!! If you trully must know the ending, then I'd say watch the trailer and take a guess. But if you don't want to watch the trailer and know anyway then scroll down....

From what I can gather about this trailer, I think that the townspeople are dead, and that the mysterious creatures "in the woods" are modern men coming in to bulldoze the town. It's somewhat interesting in concept, I just don't think that M Night is going to be able to pull this one off this time. I think it has cheese written all over it.
