Is there any awards show any less relevant than the Grammys? I mean, usually with the Academy Awards and the Emmys the worthy shows receive the nominations and awards that the movies and televisions shows desserve. But come on, are Eminem and Madonna the best that music can come up with?

I still don't know who Warren Zevon is. He's gotten all kinds of awards and I'm told that I'm supposed to like his music. But honestly, I think it kinda blows. I don't know what the big deal is.

I thought that the best part of the show were the showstopping funk numbers by "Earth, Wind, and Fire," "Parliament Funkadelic," and "Outkast." The music was GREAT. But the best part wasn't seeing all of these funk icons on stage at one time, singing great music. No. The great part of seeing all of those funk icons, in their funk gear was I thought that it made Snoop Dogg obsolete overnight. You saw George Clinton, Parliament Funkadelic, and Earth Wind and Fire dressed in the quintessential funk gear. And then the next people out on stage were Snoop Dogg and some other dude. And the "funk" gear they were wearing looked SOOOOO....corporate for lack of a better word. It looked like "My First Funk Gear" instead of being authentic. It was great.
