Spring like weather is officially here, which means that it's officially almost over. While I enjoy the mixture of humidity and 78 degree temperatures, the back of my brain is telling me not to get too comfortable. Hot weather is knocking on the door.

---------------------------------------------------

Eagles for Life and Justice for All were back today with their huge signs. I'd say that it was a pretty subdued atmosphere today. Whereas yesterday there were debates and arguments galore, today people seemed a lot more willing to just mind their own business. The discussions that did take place were civil from what I could tell.

I wasn't up for debating today. All I wanted to do was "just be out there" with my little sign and patch of grass. I saw one dude from the Justice for All display start walking towards me. "What is your opini...?" Before he could finish his sentence, I politely yet assertively told him, "I'm not out here to debate today. You have your opinion, I have mine. Someone else might be willing to talk to you but I'm not in the mood." I didn't want to be impolite and cut him off, but I really wasn't up for debate today.

I have come to the conclusion that growing a beard while the weather warms up is a STUPID idea. Beards are for colder weather. Maybe I'll keep the goatee or something. Sideburns are cool too. God I'm such a dork.

Pet peeve of mine:

When I'm on the phone at work asking for someone's social security number so I can look up their information, I hate it when it's delivered like this:

"898-854-432"

Not a big deal I guess, it just makes it harder to type when it's broken down that way.

Gotta go run errands for work. Yay work! Nothing beats selling my time to my employer so that I can pay for goods and services. :)

matt out
