well...maybe not quite.

BUT

I had a paper due last Thursday for my Film Class. The project was to analyze a movie and write a five page paper discussing the movie in regards to the history of film, and the history of the country that produced it.

One of the films was on the list was the 1969 classic "Easy Rider." Without having lived in that decade, I felt that I know quite a bit about the political and social messages that the 1960's brought about. So I chose that film to analyze.

Usually I take great pride in writing papers such as these. But I really couldn't get into this one. So what I did was just write solidly for about 2 hours or so. My goal was to just get 5 pages out there good or bad. I then like to go over and over and over the paper again with a fine tooth comb. But this time, I chose to just do maybe a half a revision where all I did was make sure I didn't misspell any words and or screw up any grammatical errors.

I felt kinda bad turning in a paper like that, because I felt that it didn't live up to a writing standard that I have set for myself. But I figured, "what the heck?"

B+

That deserves a

BOOOYEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

lol

No seriously...all this tells me is that there are some AWFUL writers out there. Seriously. If I can turn in a paper without really revising it, and still get a B+, then that just goes to show many bad writers there are out there.

I don't brag much, but as my brother says, "Go colonel, Go colonel."

;-)
