talk about a vague subject line eh???

"Live by the sword, die by the sword."

It's a concept that I've been thinking a lot about in the past few weeks and months. I really think that it's such a simple line, yet it may be one of the most profound sentences one can ponder since it applies to nearly every facet of someone's life.

If you venture yourself a capitalist, and invest yourself into a mom and pop shop, then you also run the risk of getting put out of business by the good ol people at Wal-Mart.

If you venture yourself a soldier, and pick up arms, then you run the risk of dying by someone on the other side who thinks like you do.

If you like eating ice cream and french fries, then you run the risk of getting clogged arteries.

If you play video games, you run the risk of getting sore thumbs. ;-)

Doesn't it apply to nearly everything? "Living by the sword and dying by the sword" may be the most profound cause and effect expression I've ever heard.

hmmm.
