I absolutely HATE it when a co-worker of mine screws up and my boss sends out one of those blanket alerts that read like this:

"We need to be doing a better job at alerting the advisors when their appointments are here."

Can you GET any more passive aggressive? All I ask for is directness. If I'm screwing up, tell me. If someone else is screwing up, tell them. Screw all that "blanket announcement" crap.

Of course this all stems from my stints in the Westfield Band and the United States Marine Corps, where everyone pays if one person screws up.
