"The Karate Kid" dvd set comes out tomorrow. Yippee!!!! I'm not going to get the set, but as soon as I can just buy the first movie, it's mine. Do you think that if Ralph Macchio knew that his career would peak with "The Karate Kid," he would have taken the role in the first place? God Only Knows....

On a similar note--

There is this hilarious clip on "Futurama" where Bender is learning how to be this awesome chef and they're playing the Joe Esposito song, "You're the Best" from the Karate Kid. I always laugh out loud everytime I think of that clip. HILARIOUS!!! I'll never be one to say that I should watch more television, but if I were to watch more television, I'd watch more "Futurama." As it is now, the only tv that I watch more or less regularly is "Adult Swim" on Cartoon Network.
