spoiler alert, but nothing that isn't in the trailer

I saw the new Episode III trailer today, and I must say that it, and the movie, look AMAZING. You totally called it Katie.

I've been nothing but encouraged by everyone from Natalie Portman, to Hayden Christensen saying that there is a lot of great stuff in this movie. They've all said that Lucas has worked more with the actors to get great performances, and we all know the action is going to be top notch.

I know that people were disappointed with Episode I and Episode II, but it really looks like Lucas hit this one out of the park.

We're talking about:

-a pissed off looking Anakin marching in front of a battalion of Clone/Storm Troopers

-Emperor Palpatine and Yoda having a fight inside the Senate Chambers, throwing the huge senate pods at one another.

-a huge, epic space battle, with massive ships firing on one another at point blank range.

-The Jedi using Anakin for their purposes, while the Emperor also using Anakin for his purposes. Vader's really turning out to be the very definition of a tragic figure.

-Some good shots of the duel. Lucas has said, and will say on 60 Minutes on Sunday, that Anakin DOES go to hell. It looks as if he's right on the money. Although not the *actual* hell, I don't think you can find a more hellish looking environment.

-Some good Wookie shots. Anyone pissed at the Ewok fight scene, will probably find some ounce of satisfaction with the new Wookie fight scene.

Well, that's all folks. If you want to see the trailer, e-mail me and I'll let you use my Starwars.com account to check it out. I know, I'm a friggin nerd. But in May, it's basically all over. At least until Bryan Singer's "Superman" movie comes out. ;-)
