The Good

-Who knew that Yoda liked lopping off heads? Yoda messed some poor mo' fo's up on Kashyyyk. That scene got one of the better crowd response moments of the movie. The other great Yoda crowd response moment came when...

-Yoda walked in and force threw the Emperor's royal guards. That battle started off as if the Emperor was going to toss Yoda around like a rag doll, so it was nice to see Yoda return the favor and force throw the Emperor across the room.

-There were two really great acting scenes from the mighty green one. The first being when he dropped his cane during the Jedi extermination scene, and the second being as he finally realized that he had failed as the head Jedi teacher. The scene when he dropped the cane was was heartbreaking. It was like seeing Obi Wan clutch his chest in Ep. IV, but was about 10 times more pronounced.

-"Hello there!" - Obi Wan. PERFECTLY mimicked the Alec Guinness line.

-"How uncivilized." - Obi Wan. Clever tie in to Ep IV Obi Wan talking about the lightsaber being a more civilized weapon. It's similar to his "You're going to be the death of me" line from Ep. II.

-Every single spoken line between Obi Wan and Anakin was exactly what I wanted to hear. Whether it was the playful banter from the beginning, the debating that they did in the middle, the brotherly conversations they had throughout, or the lines of betrayal in the end, I loved every time they were on screen together.

-It was weird seeing Yoda escape through the crawl space of the Senate chambers. The once proud teacher and protector of the Republic was literally having to escape as if he were a sewer rat. It was also very goosebumply hearing him say that he had failed. Only in the end does he realize what he's suspected all along. Granted...this scene could have been even better with better dialogue.

-The Jedi extermination montage. It was pretty violent, and pretty heartbreaking. If he had developed these characters more, it would have been more heartbreaking, but I felt this scene worked.

-Anakin pacing back and forth like a vicious animal over Padme's unconscious body. It was creepy hearing him say, "You're not going to take her from me." It reminded me of "A Rose for Emily." READ IT.

-The scene where Palpatine talks to Anakin in the Opera booth is delicious. The stuff that he talks about is the type of stuff we would have liked to have seen more of in previous films.

-Even with that one line, the birth scene was pretty gut wrenching.

-The music. If not the best of the Williams SW soundtrack scores, then it's certainly the most interesting. There is such a wide array of musical styles on this soundtrack.

-The scene of Padme and Anakin looking at each other from their different balconies across the city was uber tight, and one of the better shots of the entire saga.

-I was surprised at how much emotion Lucas allowed Anakin to show. It was extra nice for Lucas to have shots of Anakin crying right alongside shots of him performing his dark deeds.

God, there is so much more to put. There were soo many good moments in this movie.
