Short and sweet.

I'm glad that voters outed Joe Lieberman, but less because he openly supports the war, and more because he openly went against his own party on numerous different occasions. I'm not saying that a Democrat always needs to side with his party, but it's common Democrat knowledge that Joe is often more Republicanlite than Extra Strength Democrat. I'm glad voters saw through his shit and nominated someone else. But I of course agree with Ned Lamont on his war stance.

And I honestly don't give a flying f*ck what this means to Republicans. Time just ran a piece that said that Republicans are frothing at the mouth that Conn. Democrats supported an anti-war candidate (in terms of the Iraq War anyways), who is supposedly a "hard-core leftist," even though that isn't really true either.

So screw you Republicans. You've done such a wonderful job the past 12 years (Senate and Congress) and the past 6 years (President), that I'd rather go with something new, thank you very much. Even if we do lose with Lamont, at least we will lose with our principles, instead of with our tail between our legs. And last time I checked, 60% of Americans were opposed to this war, so put that in your pipe and smoke it.

more to come later...
