Well, Detroit's just been eliminated from the playoffs, so it's the San Antonio Spurs vs the Cleveland Cavaliers. For a long time, I wanted the Spurs to face Cleveland, but that was before Lebron James finally (finally? he's 22 years old) became the heir apparent to Michael Jordan that we all knew he could become.

It's only Saturday night, so I have almost a week to talk about the match-up between the Spurs and the Cavs, but for now, I'm going to conclude this post by saying that I'm glad the Spurs are facing the Cavs because I *really* don't like the Detroit Pistons. They have an undeserved swagger and cockiness that is hard to understand.

They've been to the NBA Finals twice, which is nothing to sneeze at, but they only have one ring. They're overrated. Chauncey Billups is overrated. Mr. Big Shot? Says who? Rasheed Wallace is good, but he's one of those players that I'd be reluctant to put on my team. He's like that guy in heroes, you never know when he's going to blow up and take the entire city with him.

That's all I have for now. I'll write more about the actual Spurs vs. Cavs series sometime before Thursday. I'm just glad I'm not going to have to see any more DEEEET-ROIT BASKETBALL until next Fall.

-Matt
