Daughter,

You've been showered. Your mother and I attended your first (of three) baby showers held in your unborn honor. You were showered with many gifts. Great gifts. Bath tubs to clean your nooks and crannies. Car seats to get you to and fro. Breast pumps for your grub. And lots of cute clothes, which thankfully aren't all pink.

But more than the gifts you were showered with, you were showered with the love of all of your friends and family who are patiently waiting to meet you. Your Aunt Katie flew in from Florida and your Great Cousin Ann flew in from Michigan. Friends drove in from Lewisville, Denton, Frisco, and Corrinth. Your Great Uncles and Great Aunts drove from Coppell and Murphy. Your Great Grandmother's house was almost busting at the seams with all the people who came in.

And they all came for you! Can't wait for you to meet them all!

Love,

Daddy
