I was talking with Luke about this one time, but I think I like Janis Joplin more in concept than I like her actual music. I've never reallly jived with her music, but I can't deny that she was a) talented b) influential and c) good enough for me to own her "Greatest Hits" collection. But yeah, I don't listen to her very much. And when most of her songs come up on iTunes, I hit fast-forward.

Any musicians, actors/actresses, shows, movies, etc that you like more in concept than in actuality?
