I reached BBQ Nirvana today at 6:00 pm. Together with some friends of ours, we drove to Lockhart, Texas...otherwise known as the BBQ Capitol of Texas.

And after eating some of the juicy brisket and perfectly cooked ribs, I ascended into BBQ Heaven. If you're ever in Lockhart....

Shit, even if you're not in Lockhart...DRIVE to Lockhart, Texas and get yourself some Smitty's BBQ. It was voted by Texas Monthly as the best BBQ in Texas. Actually, 3 of the top 5 BBQ places in Texas are in Lockhart. You better believe we're going back at some point.

Oh, and Lockhart is also the place where they filmed "Waiting for Guffman." You can see exactly where Corky's apartment was. haha
