Today's subject line is from "Uncrowded Sky," from the album with the same name by Peter Mayer. It's currently in my CD player, and "Uncrowded Sky" is the song that connected with me the most lyrically, since I'm still decluttering away (delivered the sewing machine to Project Linus this morning, and am still thinning out various office and craft supply stashes for LP Pencil Box). Musically, the one that clicks with me the most is "Promised Land":

Are you hoping for it? Barely coping for it?
Are you waiting for life to be over for it?
Well I hope you're ready for it
'Cause it's here

It's cold but sunny in Nashville today, and I have to return to the Spreadsheet That Ate Carya Aquatica Ancienne right soon, but I am armed. I had lunch at Miss Saigon with a former boss, and then I stopped by K&S for provisions:

"She Drives Me Crazy" was on the market's sound system as I shopped, which is another reason I'm in a good mood (even though I probably looked like a total dork dancing along...). That song makes me grin like a loon. So did seeing cans of Smiling Fish:

The drywall went up in the kitchen and bathroom two days ago (pictures of that later). We're probably still a month away before we can return to normal cooking, so in the meantime, we're sampling quite a few just-add-hot-water products...

I also stopped by the Oriental Mart nearby, where I picked up sesame balls for the BYM, several soft buns for myself, and another brand of dried cuttlefish. It is time for the To-Do list to tremble, for lo, I am well-fortified! Mwahahahahahahahahaaaaa!

(Ok, and possibly a trifle hyper from the sugar...)
