So: Open Palm Press has been producing a series of pocket-sized poetry booklets for Haiti relief. #10 in the series consists of three poems by me, "Drop," "Portion," and "Assignment."

The cost is $3 per copy; please click here for details on how to place an order. (And, thanks!)

A friend and I had lunch yesterday at Zumi Sushi, in large part because the restaurant was participating in a fundraiser for a local historic site. It's a good space, and the poke' appetizer (marinated tuna with crisps) was super-tasty.

They're running a "Hope and Hot Food for Haiti" special each Monday in March, where 50% of proceeds from certain appetizers (including the edamame) and entrees will be donated to Haiti relief.

Many irons in the fire, as usual. Some projects I'm not participating in, but which looked nifty to me:

  • KART, WIPE, and ReSite - three Australian art-exchange initiatives

  • The art-bead work inspired by Van Gogh's Almond Blossom, including these necklaces.
