December already?

I'm finding it hard to get back into the writing saddle. I'm finding it just as hard to get used to the fact that it's December already! Damn. Where did 2002 go?

I guess it's a bad sign when I start thinking about my goals for 2003, a month early, huh? I have a lot I wanna do next year (surprise, surprise), but I have a couple things to finish up THIS year.

Actually, I spent most of the day reading, which was a fun change of pace. I have about 200 pages to go in King and Straub's Black House, and it's amazingly good. I like how it ties into both The Talisman and King's Dark Tower novels.

I like that concept of connectivity Stephen King has running through his books, as some of the same characters and places pop up again and again.

Well, I'd hoped to finish up the horror/bipolar/werewolf tale in time to share it with the Cup-A-Prose writers -- we meet next Sunday -- but I haven't gotten 'round to it. So I sent "Back in the Old Neighborhood," another Wannoshay tale. We'll see if it makes sense. Thanks to Jason for lighting a fire under me to get something out to the rest of the group! Later...
