A Quick Quote

On my lunch breaks at work, I've taken to reading back issues of Locus and other magazines that have gotten piled up at home. I always have liked the "interviews" (they're more like essays, really, instead of question and answer sessions) with writers they run. Always something I can learn from them.

Today I read an interview with Robert Charles Wilson, an SF writer, and as I read it I found what I needed to finish the revision of my novel The Wannoshay Cycle:

"Science fiction ought not to be a timid literature."

That's all I need to remember next month as I'm rewriting, revising, and reworking my novel about aliens coming to Earth 15 years from now. Cool.
