Wheatland Press has been putting out some of the best short fiction anthologies out there, most notable the Polyphony series, which have been nominated for some Major Awards, and the fifth volume of which will include "Gillian Underground," the three-way collab written by the Nebula-nominated Greg van Eekhout, the Nebula-nominated Tim Pratt, and the... well, me.

They also have that cool zeppelin anthology, some books by this Jay Lake fella, a novel or two, and more nifty stuff coming soon, including hardcover editions of all five Polyphony collections, which you can pre-order now.

If you were ever thinking of buying something from Wheatland Press, NOW IS THE TIME. They could use the extra cash.

And if you pre-order the special Polyphony books now, you can win some nifty prizes from Barth Anderson and Tim Pratt (and there are probably more good deals going on as well).

If I had something memorable, I'd award it to a generous Wheatland Press book-buyer (this goes for ANY Wheatland Press book). But what could I give away? You tell me, and I'll see what I can do. Barth's giving away early drafts of his stories, but I bet even his rough drafts ROCK. Tim's giving away "an oh-so-special treat! Something literary. One of my chapbooks, or a signed poem. Something that may conceivably appreciate in value". :)

I've got a couple ideas, but I'm sure someone else could come up with a better idea... I have to have that first draft of my first Wannoshay story 'round here somewhere (critted by none other than GREG FROST -- at Clarion, even!).

Otherwise, there's always my poems from my angst-ridden college days... Just show me some proof of purchase. Me, I'm going to see if I have the cash to buy that zeppelin antho... Later!
