Moleskine Disappointment

So Drew and I ventured out yesterday to find some books for him and a Moleskine for me. Drew fared better -- he scored a book about a wombat called Sometimes I Like to Curl up in a Ball and a book with wheels shaped like a tractor.

I found the larger Moleskine that's the size of a trade paperback, and I picked up and brought it home. It seemed a bit small, but I thought I'd try it.

After writing the front and back of one page, I think I don't like it -- I'm used to paper journals that I can flip open, that are bound at the top, not on the left-hand side. That's the problem -- I have to contort myself to write in it, which sort of defeats the purpose. Such is the curse of being left-handed.

However, there is hope -- I did see this.

Meanwhile, I'll try doing some more drafting in my fancy new Moleskine, but I have a feeling I may go back to my coffee-stained, banged-up Carolina Pad from FYI Stationers.

Man. I'm really obessive about this writing material stuff. Later!
