Wish someone would buy our house! DONE -- offer papers were signed on Feb. 26!!!
Wish I'd land those agents at Scribe Agency. NOPE -- denied on April 7th.
Wish those agents would go on to sell All Nations Team, Wannoshay Cycle, and pre-sell Sixteen Miles from Everywhere. NOPE!
Wish Baen would buy Last of the Hand, re-subbed to them on Feb. 13. Nope.
Wish I'd hear back about that story by Jay and me at Black Gate. DONE -- story accepted with edits on March 12th!
Wish I'd get paid for "A Brotherhood of Trees" and "Drinker." DONE!
Wish we'd get our tax refund money. DONE -- got state taxes Feb. 15, and federal taxes Feb. 17!!
Wish I'd hear back on those other three stories I have out there. 1/3 DONE -- Sold "A Miracle in Shreveport" to Electric Velocipede.
Wish I'd get my Advanced Reading Copies of Heart's Revenge. DONE -- Feb. 14th!!!

Meanwhile, some things I DON'T have to wish for:
Drew is healthy.
Elizabeth is healthy (but hurt her back recently).
I'm healthy (though I hit a plateau on my weight loss, and gained a pound this past week).
Everyone in our family, plus our friends, are healthy.
We are looking to get ahead of a lot of our debt in the coming months, thanks to the new house.
We are happy, in spite of the waiting and related stress.
The future's so bright, we gotta wear shades. (Sorry, couldn't resist!)
