Almost forget this tidbit of nice news:

In the hubbub of "Lost" episodes and Tar Heel basketball victories (go Heels for beating Dook at HOME -- take that Cameron Crazies!), I forgot to mention this very nice mention by reviewer Faren Miller from the February 2006 LOCUS as part of her "2005 in Review" of the best books of the year:
And now to those collections. Small-press highlights include Bisson's Greetings, Emshwiller's I Live With You, Frost's Attack of the Jazz Giants, Powers's Strange Itineraries, and Waldrop's Heart of Whitenesse. To those I'd add Michael Jasper's GUNNING FOR THE BUDDHA, since it's time for 21st-century writers to start making their mark.
Nice! That is some stellar company to be mentioned with in the same paragraph. Whew. Faren also wrote a great review of my book last year, so it was great to see a tiny mention of this in the huge lists of best books o' the year! Later. :)
