Just got an email from the Book Pages editor of the Raleigh News & Observer, letting me know that she wants to run my short-short story "Tiny Disaster" in this Sunday's paper, right smack-dab in the middle of the book reviews and literary columns (which I've been loving lately!).

Great news, and nice timing, too, since my story deals with a strange incident during the State Fair. So go and check out the N&O's Book Pages already, okay? Some cool stuff is going on there, as I've said before.

That makes it published story #49. I never thought I'd get this far -- let's see if I can hit 50 this year, eh?

Though I must say, I'm much more interested in getting the next novel or two accepted... Later!
