You have to love it when you're browsing in the bookstore with your boys, and your oldest passes up a couple Thomas the Tank Engine books and a book about a cat and the moon and chooses instead to get this book:



How's that for an ego boost? Plus, the book has gorilla pirates from Mars in it! It's a keeper.

Not a bad way to end the weekend in which we got to see the latest Indiana Jones movie (meh) and Lizzie and I had a date (woo hoo!) and I finished up my synopsis and opening 5 chapters of my YA novel (woo hoo again!).

But that book choice was a definite high point. Later!
