I find it interesting this cooperation was in the works to build this evangelical tourist site. I've heard that many Jewish people have been offended by evangelical proselytizing directly aimed at Jewish people and the portrayal by the New Testament, especially John, that "the Jews" killed Jesus. I would think this evangelical - Israeli alliance would be tenuous under the best of circumstances.
