It is humbling to consider that others may hold you redeemable even when you don't think so yourself.

I am remembering tonight how it was to blog for the first time - to wonder if anyone could relate to those deepest feelings and thoughts I wanted to share, and then to make connections over time.

But I'm also sadly remembering how I've walked away from those connections and just dropped actively carrying on friendships that meant a great deal to me.

Nevertheless, I feel compelled to say tonight that you are important and valuable, even if I am not the one you can count on to hear that from. You deserve to hear it and know it to be true in the deepest secret places that yearn to be known and loved just as you are. And this is true whether you are known to me or not, because if this whole thing we call life isn't about a grace that includes everyone, then what hope could we have.
