There were many other MKW05 highlights, but a few notes of interest:

* I must say, there really is no contest - if you're going to go limo, go SUV limo. It's like a different world.

* Being a journalist and on the other side of a photographer taking candids while you're getting ready, curling eyelashes and lacing yourself into a dress - just weird. Photog Joe was awesome, got along beautifully with the family and whole wedding party, but still - weird.

* If you're a Kraly, your grandmother will be late to her oldest, first granddaughter's wedding. And she will try to walk into the church as the bride walks down the aisle. She will not apologize.

* A constant mix of champagne and wine throughout the whole night will result in only a minor headache the next day. (Probably smart if said champagne and wine are the good stuff. The champagne's not Korbel??? Kidding.)

* Should you combine above-mentioned libations with a hot bridesmaid dress and hip-hop music, you will flirt shamelessly with your parents' co-worker. He will flirt back. It will not be good. You will go home annoyed.

* There is no avoiding it: you will dance to the "Electric Slide." Stop fighting it.

* Should you deliver a hilarious, touching, award-winning toast, people will say you should be in public office. They will tell you you're great in front of a crowd. You'll think, 'eh.' Thanks, but no thanks.

* Younger, hipper priests are more fun. You'll hit it off and become BFF with said priest after just 5 minutes of meeting. You'll think, "damn, he's cool for a priest." Oh, except when he says, "Christine, always a bridesmaid, huh?" Is it a sin to hate a priest?

One of these days when I can figure out how to upload pictures, those of you who haven't seen how hot my family and friends looked will get to see a photo or two (Dickie, HELP! Send me instructions)
