so, this weekend, i went to see 'delovely' and i enjoyed it very much. gay men married to straight women, flourishing musical numbers, and fabulous clothing, how could i not love it? and there were ALOT of musical numbers, not as fancy as 'moulin rouge' yet not as dull as 'down with love'. the rest of the story was really well done too, of course i was sobbing by the end. keving kline and ashley judd were great, and it was nice to see elvis costello in it. also, i was really excited to see the captain from 'the imposters' ("I'm always a little sad...") in it. definite thumbs up. on a funnier note, the first movie of a sunday is like the early bird special lobster dinner at 4:00 in the afternoon- lots of seniors in the audience, and they apparantly had no idea cole porter liked men.

last nights dream needs some interpreting. i was in the woods, following a path up a twisty slight upgrade, and my goal was to get to where you could rent these steerable tubes to ride down the creek along the path. it took forever to get to the top and wheni finally did, the guy who ran the place wouldn't let me have a tube because i was 6 months pregnant. this was news to me, but as it turned out, he was right. he led me into a room where he had ultrasound pics of the baby cause the tube guy was now a doctor, and the father of the baby was there. i don't knwo who he was, he had a southern accent and seemed sort of trashy. he tried to deny that the baby was his but the doctor kept saying that he had genetic proof. then this got me to thinking that it had been 10+ months since i had had sex with that guy (or any guy), so how could i have been pregnant? a weird panic about having an alien or the lord's baby set in and then i woke up...
