Curtis W. Roberts

Curtis W. Roberts, 57, answered God's call and went home to heaven on Tuesday.

He leaves behind his devoted wife, Anne Marie Latona Roberts, residing at 124 Highland Drive, Jenkins Township.
Curtis was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley and Helen Curtis Roberts.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Gail and Leonard Russell, Connecticut; Jean and Joseph Leibman, Pittston; nephew, Jude Leibman; nieces, Christine Leibman, Beth Gorab and Sara Russell.
Curtis taught music in Pittston area schools since 1971. He was a life-long resident of the greater Pittston area, earning a bachelor's degree in music from Wilkes College and a master's degree in music education from College Misericordia. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps and was a Vietnam veteran.

The family will receive callers Wednesday, 4 and 8 p.m., at Graziano Funeral Home Inc., 700 Township Blvd., Pittston Township, PA 18640.
A celebration of his life will be held at 11 in Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Luzerne Avenue, West Pittston, PA 18643, with Pastor Don Strope officiating.
Memorial contributions in his name may be made to the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Luzerne Avenue, West Pittston, PA 18643.
