Hey kids, I'm back from Thailand. I wanted to share a funny story that happened on my second to last night there. As I was walking around Soi Cowboy (an infamous red light district) I walked in front of one of the many girl bars there. Some of you may have noticed that I tend to underpronate when I walk (i.e. I walk like a duck). Up and down Soi Cowboy are lots of hookers calling out to men to come inside the bar and have a few drinks. As I was walking through Soi Cowboy, one of the hookers pointed at me and said, "Hey you! Why you walk like duck?!?" Before I could tell her that I've always underpronated and that my condition is mild, she tucked her arms under her armpits, pointed her toes outwards and yelled out, "Look! I walk like duck too! Kak! Kak! Kak!," followed by her walking in a little circle just like a duck. Her little hooker friends saw this and imitated her by putting their arms in their armpits, pointing out their toes and knees, all the while saying, "Look at me, I duck too! kak! Kak! Kak!" Five adorable Thai hookers in black underwear walking in circles walking like ducks. "Kak! Kak! Kak! Kak! I a duck! I a duck!" What does a guy like me say to a bunch of hookers mocking my underpronation? Needless to say, I went inside and bought them all several rounds of drinks while explaining the finer details of my condition. That is all.
