i can't believe it's june already!! where does the time go?????

we had the wildest electrical storm here yesterday. it formed over downtown lexington and just sort of hung there for a while. we are maybe a mile and a half from downtown as the crow flies, and we got a brief minute-long spattering of rain, thunder, incredible lightning, and high winds. downtown lexington got 2.5 inches of rain!! we lost power here at 3 and it came back on at 4:45 just as we were getting ready to leave. so i sat here for almost 2 hours with absolutely NOTHING to do - no phones, no computer, no lights - not even a book to read by candlelight. and walking out the door the power came back on!!! go figure!!!

anyhoo, rather an exciting afternoon. you can tell i don't get out much, eh??

outtamyhead sometimes it all comes outtamyhead, and sometimes i'm just outtamyhead. period. i guess i started this journal thingy out of boredom at a job i used to have. i stay here because i've come to know and love some of the people i've "met". you know who you are!!!
