there is a beautiful blonde cat that roams around our back yard. i don't know if she belongs to anyone or not. i've never seen a pregnant cat, so i don't know, but now i'm worried. she's very people shy, so won't let us get near her, and i don't see any kind of collar, so it looks like she's just a stray.

the reason i think she's pregnant - when i saw her just now, she is huge, and has a "sac" of some sort that hangs below her belly. it's not a growth - it's too large for that. i guess it's more of a "paunch". (ok, ok, i know, i have one too and i am most definitely NOT pregnant!!) so i'm worried. the nights are getting pretty cool, and i'd hate to think she has to have these babies outside, with no warm place to raise them.

does this sound like a pregnant kitty looks? does anyone know?

crap. something else to worry about. i know, it's the way of things and sometimes there's nothing we can do, but still - spay and/or neuter, people, please.
