cage is okay. it's fucken.. what's his name...KEANU that sucks monkey butt.

not too much of an argument here...he's good sometimes (speed, the devil's advocate), then theres times I could rent an AK 47 and give him the swiss cheese look...

are you telling me nick cage is a great actor? ok, i can't talk to you anymore. to watch him means i have to buy some good wine to go along with the stinky cheese...

ugh...lol

I first saw Cage in raising arizona and thought he was a total dork...then as I kept watching his films, I really dug his acting. dunno why, but the characters he plays always--mostly, anyway--are just flat out cool

you suck, perry...anchorman was funny...i love will ferrell...hahaha...so just forget i recommended talledega nights (in the next post), you fucking will hater (don't be a hater perry)

haven't seen the others, but they sound boring. it's been awhile since i've seen a good "hollywood" movie. prefer those off the beaten path.

I really thought anchorman was a waste of time. it just wasnt funny at all to me. and what other ferrell stuff I saw just wouldnt click.

i loved "Pan's Labrinyth," but be warned, it's sub-titled. i also like "Ghostrider" but am on the fence about "The Illusionist." i liked "The Prestige" better. it was creepier.

yeah, I liked what I saw of Pan's Labrinyth, but for some reason I didnt see the second half...maybe I got company or something...but what I did see--subtitled or not--was way cool and I plan on catching the rest soon. the other two movies I saw but didnt go gaga over.

jesus perry, i've seen a few good one's lately...but let me see if i can recall (and you're not one for foreign flicks, are you?)...ok, i admit it, i loved saw 3, don't shoot me please, but it answered questions from the earlier two...and i don't really go for the blood and guts anymore (like more the psychological scary stuff) so it was well suited.

if you haven't seen "300," highly recommended (search around online, you can find a great bootleg copy that i think had to be lifted directly from the studio). hubby thought it the best movie he'd ever seen. i didn't have such an attitude at first, but upon watching again, yep, it's climbing up there. and to think it was shot entirely in front of a green screen, amazing.

have a laugh and watch "talledega nights" you can never go wrong with will ferrell. ("get down, diane"...not what you think...lol...the outtakes are even funnier and you can see where they must have improv'd a lot)

i know you like horror stuff, but look into "brick" it's a really good independent film about teenagers, murder, and drugs. well worth a watch, imo. they have white "gangsta" slang for god's sake...lol...who knew? the anti-hero is the kid from third rock from the sun, and the bad guy was the kid in et (with the big ears)

if you haven't seen hostel, you'd probably like it (and the second one is now out)

now, go forth and view, mutha fucka...lol...

saw3...yes, cool. the whole plot (stand alone and as part of a series) rocked...300 is great, I watched it twice and usually I dont go for gladiator stuff...talledega nights...I got it ordered, and even after seeing his flop anchorman, Ill still give it a chance...brick, also, is on order, the previews look cool...

i agree that "The Fountain" sucked.

haven't seen the others.

'nuff said :)

Chasing Ghosts is a really cool flick, but either I missed something or something cuz the ending didnt work, so Ill watch it again--its just a cool movie, if you like police drama with grit

Kiss of Death, with Nicholas Cage and a few other stars, really is a 8 1/2 dead baby film...a must see, matter of fact

however, Night at the Museum, although chock full of hearty laughs, had several large plot holes in it. to tell the truth, it worked even with the less-than-perfect direction cuz I always like it when Attila the Hun rips people's arms off.

next up: Signs, because Ive never seen it yet, and Mel Gibson is such a great actor. some people said this film sucked so Ill find out for myself tonight..

off to work with my ass now. gonna do a roof on a garage. it aint like I aint done enough roofing this season so far to last a lifetime...I hate roofing, dammit

till we meet again..............................
